Letter From The President

As PCS celebrates its 15th year of business in 2008, I want to talk about the “value add” I believe PCS provides to our customers. To me, the one word that best describes this value-add is Confidence.

Confidence that the products we provide meet our rigorous standards, products from manufacturers who will stand behind their products and service them responsively.

Confidence that you're making the best investment possible for your operations so you can achieve the greatest increase in safety, ergonomics and productivity.

Confidence your investment is installed correctly so your equipment and vehicles work properly for the long haul.

Confidence you can get what you need in the shortest time possible.

Confidence your staff is well trained to install, operate and support your solution.

We aren't perfect, and we feel confident that by admitting this we will always be focused on improving our company. We "step up to the plate" when we need to address problems, so we can maintain the confidence of our customers. We believe true confidence begins with admitting we can better ourselves, while accepting criticism and input from our customers. We look forward to addressing your needs and opportunities in our next 15 years of business.

Sincerely,
Kathy Pakkebier
President

Monthly FAQ Column

What is a dual pass through dock and what are the benefits?

Dual pass through docks offer greater network connectivity to mobile work environments. While most laptops provide an internal antenna for network connectivity, barriers such as vehicle rooftops impede specific signals such as GPS from being received and relayed consistently. Dual pass through docks provide automatic connection to an antenna that has been externally placed on the vehicle. This provides greater connectivity and reliability of networks, stronger signal strength and less downtime from inconsistent network signals.

featured partner

As a valued partner with PCS for ten years, LEDCO provides laptop mounting and docking stations that maximize user productivity through comfort, safety and quality.

As the mobile computing industry matures, many agencies find themselves connected, but not necessarily productive due to excessive downtime, bad ergonomics and substandard hardware. Maximum productivity in the field is a direct effect of comfortable, ergonomic devices and safe, high quality equipment.
