PCS Ranks Sixth on ColoradoBiz Magazine’s “Top 100 Woman-Owned Companies” List

DENVER, CO (April 22, 2009) — ColoradoBiz, a monthly publication for the Denver metro business market, has ranked Portable Computer Systems, Inc. (PCS) #6 on their list of the “Top 100 Woman-Owned Companies in Colorado.” The list, published in the May 2009 issue, ranks the winners by their 2008 Gross Revenue.
Founded in 1993 by President and CEO Kathleen Pakkebier, PCS is a mobile data integrator whose products include radios, laptops, modems, supporting hardware and professional services.
Pakkebier started PCS after she saw an opportunity to partner with a national laptop manufacturer to provide a total mobile data solution for public safety organizations. Currently PCS provides customers with complete solutions composed of pre-sales consultative services, pilot products, in-car vehicle installation, project management and on-site technical services.
